Three Greek businesses selected from over than 730 applications to share prize funding of €1,000,000.

This year the HEA has again achieved higher levels of participation than in any previous year, with more than 730 submitted business plans. The 2015 winners span a range of commercial ventures from a clean energy technology, to a mobility aid for the sight-impaired, to a specialist online delicatessen. Read more about the winning companies.

The Hellenic Entrepreneurship Award (HEA) offers Greece-based entrepreneurs the chance to receive free consulting and mentoring plus a total of €1 million of funding to support their new business venture. Following three highly successful award programmes a total of eleven winning companies are now pursuing their business plans with the assistance of the HEA and the many partner organisations that have come forward to offer their support.

The award programme aims to create opportunity for both experienced and budding entrepreneurs by providing winners with the resources they need to get a new business started. The Hellenic Entrepreneurship Award is funded and administered by the Libra Group on behalf of The Hellenic Initiative, a non-profit organization that is undertaking a number of economic development programmes designed to encourage entrepreneurship and investment in Greece. The Libra Group has committed over €7 million to the award.
